Is ConnectQR really free?

Yes. The free plan is available forever with no credit card required. You get 2 dynamic QR codes, 10 trackable short links, and unlimited static QR codes. It never expires.

Do I need an app to scan ConnectQR codes?

No. ConnectQR codes work with the native camera app on both iPhone (iOS 11+) and Android. Your audience does not need to download anything.

What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?

Static QR codes have their destination encoded directly into the code - once printed, they cannot be changed. Dynamic QR codes store a redirect that you can update any time from your dashboard. Dynamic codes also track every scan with real-time analytics.

How do I create my first QR code?

Sign up at dashboard.connectqr.ai/signup, click New QR Code, choose your type (URL, vCard, email, etc.), enter your destination, customise the design, and download. The whole process takes under two minutes.

What is included on the free plan?

The free plan includes 2 dynamic QR codes, 10 trackable short links, unlimited static QR codes, basic scan analytics, and custom QR design with logo upload. It is free forever with no time limit.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You can upgrade instantly at any time. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period. All your QR codes and data remain intact when you change plans.

What happens to my QR codes if I cancel my subscription?

Dynamic QR codes require an active paid subscription to function - the redirect is managed on our servers. If you cancel, you will be moved to the free plan and any dynamic codes above the free limit will be deactivated. Static codes are unaffected.

Are all prices in USD?

Yes. All ConnectQR pricing is in USD. Annual plans are billed upfront. Monthly plans are available at a higher rate.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits or educational institutions?

What file formats can I download my QR code in?

PNG, JPG, and SVG. PNG and JPG are suitable for most digital and standard print uses. SVG is a vector format suitable for high-resolution and large-format print applications.

What analytics data does ConnectQR track?

ConnectQR tracks total scans, unique visitors, geographic location by country and city, device type (iOS/Android), browser, and time/date of every scan. Analytics are available on all paid plans.

What integrations are available?

ConnectQR integrates with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Canva, and Zapier. Integrations are available from the Lite plan upward.

What is GS1 Digital Link and is it included?

GS1 Digital Link is the global standard replacing traditional barcodes by 2027. It encodes a product GTIN in a QR code that works at retail POS, in your supply chain, and for consumer engagement. GS1 Digital Link is available on the Pro plan (10 codes) and Enterprise (unlimited).

Is there an API?

Yes. The ConnectQR public REST API is available on Pro and Enterprise plans. Documentation is at connectqr.ai/api-docs. API keys are generated from your dashboard settings.

What uptime does ConnectQR guarantee?

ConnectQR is hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure with a 99.9% uptime SLA. Dynamic QR redirects are served from a globally distributed CDN for fast response times worldwide.
